WASHINGTON — The Humane Organization Representing Suffering Equines (HORSE), will hold its Spring Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at 43 Wilbur R.

The rain date is Sunday, May 16.

There is a maximum of four people per group for hourly tours to meet one of the newest arrivals, Delilah, a rescue from Texas and her friends, from miniature ponies to draft-crosses.

The event includes a bake sale, jewelry, tie-died T-shirts and bags.

The tack shop will be open for the spring Tack Sale, including saddles, bridles, blankets, boots, helmets, grooming equipment and new and used equine clothing.

Horses available for sponsorship, a program that includes four visits a month during which the sponsor can groom, spend time with and hand-walk the horse. In addition to horses for sponsor, several are available for lease and adoption as well.
