A COACH FOR ALL SEASONS – Whether it was exhorting his Watertown High School football  team on during a time-out or wearing his number 3 uniform on the baseball diamond, Roger Ouellette was there leading his teams on cold, frosty Friday nights at the Mills Complex or under sunny spring skies at Deland Field.

After Ouellette’s untimely death on April 16 stunned the community, Ouellette’s successor as baseball coach, Jerry Valentino, addressed the crowd at Deland Field prior to the Indians’ April 18 game, then led the team and fans in a moment of silent remembrance for Ouellette, whom he served as an assistant in both sports.
