AAW Invites Submissions to Members’ Invitational Exhibition August 4

Dr. Keffie Feldman, chief curator of the Mattatuck Museum, will be the juror at the Arts Alliance of Woodbury’s fourth annual Members’ Invitational Exhibition. Dr. Feldman is pictured with a Jim Dine print from the museum’s permanent collection. AAW is currently accepting registrations for the exhibit, set for August 4 to 30 in the gallery at the Woodbury Public Library.

WOODBURY — The Arts Alliance of Woodbury has named Dr. Keffie Feldman, chief curator of the Mattatuck Museum, juror of its fourth Members’ Invitational Exhibition, set for Thursday, August 4 to August 30 in the gallery at the Woodbury Public Library, 269 Main St. South. An opening reception and presentation of awards is planned for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, in the gallery. The exhibition will be open for public viewing during regular library hours. Registrations are currently being accepted.

With a wide-ranging background in art and history, Dr. Keffie Feldman holds a Ph.D. from the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World at Brown University and a B.A. in archaeology and art history from Tufts University. Whether considering art of the ancient past or the contemporary present, she is interested in art’s power as a means of personal and cultural expression.
