DANBURY — Nicole Kolitsas ‘21 of Woodbury will appear in the lead role when Immaculate High School presents “Once On This Island” at ACT of Connecticut in Ridgefield, a professional Equity theater.

Performances are set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 2, 3 and 4, with a 2 p.m. matinee on April 4.

“Once On This Island,” a re-telling of the same fairy tale that inspired “The Little Mermaid,” opens on a Caribbean island where villagers tell the story of the orphan peasant girl Ti Moune, destined to love too much for the human heart to bear.

Other Voices-area students included in the main cast are Siobhan Reidy ‘21 as Erzulie and Kevin Coonan ‘22 as Papa Ge, both of Sandy Hook, and Trey Michaelsen ‘20 of Newtown as Armand.

The public is invited to enjoy the talented cast and beautiful scenery at this special location.

Tickets are available at www.immaculatehs.org/ooti
