MONROE — The Monroe Chamber of Commerce will hold its Union Savings Bank Scholarship Golf Tournament on Monday, October 7, at Whitney Farms Golf Course, 175 Shelton Rd.

The scholarships, awarded to Masuk High School seniors who plan to attend an institute of higher learning, are presented during the chamber’s annual dinner and business meeting to honor of John Dry, a past chamber president.

The chamber is offering 10 sponsorship opportunities for the tournament, which includes registered teams to play the course.

Singles who would like to play will be assigned to a short team.

The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with registration and breakfast with a 9 a.m. shot gun start.

Lunch will begin at 1 p.m. with awards, prizes, and raffles.
