WOODBURY — Debbie Barry will host an Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, September 29, at Ready to Exhale, 107 Main St. North. All are welcome. Ready to Exhale, a small yoga and creative workshop studio with a focus on self-care, opened on August 1. Certified in Yoga, Zentangle, SoulCollage and Trauma Sensitive Restorative Yoga, Ms. Barry offers gentle Vinyasa/Hatha classes and also basic beginner’s five-week courses especially for women who are facing the challenges in strength, flexibility and balance that often accompany aging.

Each class includes a guided meditation.

Popular at Ready to Exhale is a creative art process called Zentangle, which gives every person the ability to leave class with a beautiful piece of artwork that they create themselves.

Highly focused and mindful, Zentangle is a fun, self-care modality that reduces stress and heightens awareness and self-esteem.

The studio also offers Restorative Relaxation.

In a caring atmosphere, participants can experience a deep level of rest and relaxation with the help of the instructor, along with bolsters, blankets, blocks and music.

Ready To Exhale is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Private sessions are offered in Yoga and Restorative Yoga. Private Zentangle parties are available.
