Seymour Craft Fair and Santa Visit Slated

The Seymour Historical Society will host a Holly Day Fair featuring local artists and craft vendors selling their works from 1 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 5. Each room of the museum will be beautifully decorated in a Christmas theme from years past. There is no entry fee. Holly Day Fair guests who wear an “ugly sweater” will also receive raffle tickets for craft items. One room will feature a miniature Christmas village (pictured), another will have Victorian-style decor, and yet another will be filled with vintage toys kids might have received as gifts many decades ago.

SEYMOUR — The Seymour Historical Society will host a Craft Fair and Santa Visit at 59 West St. Children can visit Santa from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 4 the Katharine Matthies House. The event is free and parents may take photos at no charge. The Historical Society will host a Holly Day Fair featuring local artists and craft vendors selling their works from 1 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 5. Those attending are asked to bring non-perishable food items for needy families on both days. Those donating items will receive free raffle tickets for a drawing for a supermarket gift card.
